The Grand-Auditorium shape is the natural evolution of the Concert and Auditorium models. Larger in both lower width and overall depth, the Rathbone No.3 Grand-Auditorium is designed to deliver an extra serving of power from every direction.

Another remarkably good-looking instrument, the Rathbone R3SBCE combines Solid Spruce and highly figured Bocote wood. Similar in its nature to a maple guitar, this instrument is very powerful and offers the player superb projection, filling a room easily, whether strumming or fingerpicking.

The perfect all-rounder, the No.3 has the same scale length as the Orchestra Model but body dimensions closer to a classic dreadnought. The larger body cavity naturally produces greater bass tones, but without sacrificing clarity, and that's the beauty of the Grand-Auditorium. However, a larger body does not mean an unwieldy instrument. Far from it, in fact. The beautiful curves around the waist of the Rathbone No.3 ensure the guitar will sit comfortably on a knee or hang perfectly from your shoulders.

        Testimonials

I began my guitar journey here. The support and advice provided by Leyton has been invaluable. From my first acoustic guitar and recommendation for my first guitar tutor. To my first electric guitar and amp.

I won't be going anywhere else.

        Malcom Jacobs, Dec. 2020

I value the excellent customer service!

Leyton will always go that extra mile to get you what you need. During this lockdown period I know that 'extra mile' has proved to be invaluable to many.
