Who Are We?

Your Friendly Neighbourhood Music Shop located in Neath, South Wales.

I set up The Music Shop Neath after my previous employer, Neath Music Ltd sadly closed it's doors as I wanted to continue to supply and support our local community of musicians. I hope that The Music Shop has done this, after we set up in August 2015 I have grown the range of suppliers and brands that we have access to and have established crucial links and relationships with some of the best guitar and amp technicians, music teachers and musicians around the local area.

My aim is to help all musicians of any age get into music and supply experienced musicians with the advice, service and instruments they need. Please don't be afraid to get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you!

We personally check over every instrument before it makes it's way into your hands. This ensures THAT we have robust levels of quality control and aims to deliver you a polished, tuned instrument that you can play straight away! If the product isn't something we would be happy playing then it doesn't leave our shop. This care and attention to detail is something we pride ourselves on.

FREE & HONEST ADVICE, no obligation

With nearly 15 years worth of experience in music retail and as a gigging musician (Bass player), Leyton has personal knowledge of the products and problems you may be dealing with. We are totally independent and will always give you all the advice we can to make an informed decision. Higher price is not always a sign of higher quality and we will recommend other suppliers when you need them.

PERSONAL SERVICE ON YOUR BEHALF

If you have any problem with any of your purchases we are here to help take up that issue with the manufacturer on your behalf if they are still under warranty. This saves you time and sometimes a lot of hassle compared to buying online from large anonymous retailers. If it is no longer under warranty, we will still do our best to resolve the issue with you were we can.
