Bassman pedals have all your basses covered. Drawing inspiration from the original tube amp line that laid way for Fender’s sub-sonic signal processing, the Bassman pedal line hosts a collection of meticulously crafted analog and digital circuits all curated from the ground up for bass-centric tonal expansion.

A no fuss professional compressor tailored specifically for bass instruments, the Bassman Compressor focuses on ease-of-use and great tone. Beneath its simple control set, this compact pedal employs smooth RMS compression – the same compression circuitry used in the most prominent studio rack compressors.

The ratio and release switches each offer two meticulously dialed in presets to coax the most out of your bass with minimum stress, while the rest of your compression settings are handled using the straightforward level and compression controls. Use the blend control to inject fullness and dynamics from your clean signal back into the mix for the perfect balance of compression and feel.

Key Features:

  • Studio style RMS compression meets simple UI in a pedal board friendly form factor
  • Select between two dialed in ratio settings for light compression or smooth limiting
  • Internal attack and release controls offer further fine-tuning to suit your playing
  • Soft-touch relay true bypass with auto bypass when no power is present
  • Side mounted pad switch to suit active basses
  • Top mounted jacks and road-ready aluminum enclosure

Testimonials

I began my guitar journey here. The support and advice provided by Leyton has been invaluable. From my first acoustic guitar and recommendation for my first guitar tutor. To my first electric guitar and amp.

I won't be going anywhere else.

Malcom Jacobs, Dec. 2020

I value the excellent customer service!

Leyton will always go that extra mile to get you what you need. During this lockdown period I know that 'extra mile' has proved to be invaluable to many.
